Made In France Sale

At long last I made it to one of the Made In France sales. It is an imported food wholesaler in Brisbane. They have a sale to the public about once a month on a Friday and Saturday. I did restrain myself but it was very difficult. It is a warehouse with cases of all kinds of yummy stuff. The chocolate area was died and gone to heaven time. Oh, and the cheese ... sigh. And, before the foie gras ban goes into effect in a few years, I'll be getting some very expensive cases of canned goods. Branwen and I will have a really good picnic at March Crown.

Just google Made In France and Brisbane and you'll find their website ... it is easy to get on the mailing list. Yes, I am an evil enabler :-)

I get their advanced advertising email but I've never been able to go -- since I have to work on Friday and figured most of it would be gone by Saturday. But I might have to take a day off!

They tend to sell out of the French yoghurt on Fridays.

A lot of stuff is still there on Saturday morning, but get there by 10 - at least your first visit will take a while because there's much to see and try not to put in your grocery cart.

We went back today so himself could have a look. We got there around 10:30 and there was still plenty of yogurt and lots of other goodies.

Interesting. I guess all the French people have finally gotten their fill of yoghurt.

I am fond of their French-style sausages, Petit Basque cheese, and the sodas.
